Thursday, June 19th is 'Dump the Pump' Day!! Remember the "Spare the Air" days with free transit? Well, about a year ago, the free transit no longer existed. The state now has enough funds for one more free transit day and they randomly chose June 19th! So, all you greenies (or wannabe greenies) , please take advantage of free transit if you need to be out and about on Thursday. OK, no steps today, no admonitions about taking steps, but one big step forward (I hope) today.

Planet Green TV, from the Discovery Network, launched today. They have some fun video promos on YouTube.

I'm not sure if they've accounted for the extra TV time (and the resulting power consumption and carbon impact) from people watching, but maybe we'll all be a bit greener and it'll be a bit easier. Something you know I think matters.
