Welcome to the Idea Share Blog.
Idea Share is a new capability within the WebEx User Community. It’s the place for you to post your ideas about new features, products, or services you’d like to see from WebEx. Members can view and vote on all the ideas listed. Think of it as a suggestion box where you get to see and influence the direction on all the suggestions.
There are no boundaries on suggestions other than they need to be relevant to WebEx products and services. We’ve been running this inside WebEx for a short time and kept some of the ideas that have been submitted internally. Please vote on those as well as suggesting your own. Ideas can be as simple as “AimPro with "Trilian" functionality” to feature-extensive ideas like “Location based collaboration”.
How the voting works? You can vote on an idea by clicking on the 'thumbs up' or 'thumbs down' icons. Each vote is worth 7 points and you can only vote once on an idea. You can reset your vote but you cannot increase your number of promotion or demotion votes for a specific item. You should vote on your own idea as well as other ideas you want to see get implemented by giving the ‘thumbs up’. Over time, this allows WebEx to see which ideas get the most votes thereby helping us to establish development priorities.
