The Wikis area on this seems to be completely broken. It either 'times out', or bumps me back the original page. Is there someone who can fix this? I called WebEx support but disappointingly they told me just to post here.

Hi Andy,
Will get on this right away. Am glad you stumbled upon it - we do not get much traffic yet in that area so glad to see that you wanted to participate there. Will post a note when fixed.

Andy - Thanks for your feedback. I'm having difficulty reproducing the problems you're seeing. I was able to make an edit successfully. If you could let me know what page(s) you are trying to edit I will look into it further.

The site does time out after about 45 minutes on a page. If you're trying to do long and intensive edits to the wiki, it's a good idea to write up your thoughts locally (in MS Word or another word processing software) and then past it in to the wiki.

Please feel free to contact me via email for more specific support help on this: ihazard@mzinga.com

It seems more responsive but I still cannot access any pages - I can't get any further than the 'contents' page ("This is the home page of the Wiki. Follow the links below...").

I was trying from work earlier using Windows XP with both IE7 and Firefox, now I'm trying from home using Mac OS X with Safari and Firefox.

It would be helpful to hear from a non-WebEx poster if they can access the Wikis or not.

Hi Andy,
Diane and I did a test this morning and found that if I wasn't logged in as a member, when I clicked a link that the home page was all that I saw, another wards nothing happend.

Once I logged in, I was able to drill down into the various wiki's. That is not the way the wiki should perform as you should be able read anything but once you decide to post content, then you're required to login.

I'm using Windows XP w/ IE 6; Diane was running IE 7 she did not have the same user experience I did (meaning she wasn't logged in and could drill down).

I'll reach out to another non-webex member to determine if they're experiencing similar issue w/ the wiki.

Thanks for your patience and hopefully we'll have this issue resolved very soon.

Hi Andy,
The wiki issue should be fixed now. It looks like some bad java script got into the text/html box that was sitting on top of the wiki. The java interfered with the wiki itself.

Thanks again for your patience and bringing to our attention.

Much appreciated,
Holly

Thanks, that seems to have helped, although it seems I need to use Firefox rather than Safari to make edits.

Our community provider, Mzinga, determined there this site works best in Internet Explorer and Firefox (some editing functions may not work in Safari)

It's almost five years since Microsoft discontinued support for IE on the Mac so that's not realistic option. It's unfortunate that Safari doesn't work on the site now that WebEx itself is fairly Mac-friendly.

Hi Andy,

You are of course correct on this and we will continue to work with our platform provider to get it upgraded and resolved.  Many, many of my peers at Cisco and at WebEx are on Mac's and I am at home so I share your concern.  We will post a target date when as soon as we know when it will be fixed.  Cannot tell you when that will be but we should be able to give you a date by mid-May.
