I like to think of the various types of learning we employ in the same way a painter thinks about the colors on their palette. Blended learning implies that we may use many different tools or colors to accomplish our learning (and business) goals.

So here is quick question: What does your blended learning "palette" contain? Here are some examples of tools and approaches that organizations use to drive learning:

- Traditional Instructor-Led Classroom Training (ILT)
- Self-paced courses purchased from a content provider
- Self-paced courses that they developed themselves
- Live virtual classroom solutions (vILT)
- Recordings of live classroom sessions (audio/video)
- Conference calls
- eMail distribution of documents/presentations
- Wikis
- Blogs
- Instant Messaging (there is an interesting story here)

I've probably left out 5-10 other methods... so what are you using and why?
