So I am re-developing a class today and can't help but to recognize everything I've been doing "wrong" in this class over the last year. As I re-work everything from objectives to exercises, I got to thinking, I could really use some professional feedback on this stuff much sooner in the process.

I was wondering how others were accomplishing peer review of their work. Do you have formalized programs, instruments, etc.? Or are your like me, and mostly dependent on student feedback to figure out what works and what doesn't?

I was thinking about suggesting a peer review program within my department but am not sure what political or other pitfalls I'd need to watch out for ( I am in a large government agency).

Advice, anecdotes or resources will be greatly appreciated.
