First, I'm glad I found this thread. I recently had called Tech Support and was lead to believe my problems with trying to use the WebEx Recording Editor were on my side, despite having 1 GB of RAM and a 1.66 Ghz processor.

I have 8 years of experience with Centra, and based on their product one addition to the NBR that would greatly reduce editing for me would be the addition of a Pause button. I like creating some sessions without an audience and just the presenter, to be distributed as playbacks for asynchrnous learning. I went with the WebEx Standalone Recorder because it had a pause button, so I could stop during the recording to do-over, wait for applications to load, etc. Unfortunately, by pausing I have created "ghost" audio tracks that were recorded after the recorder was paused, and now they won't edit out of the recorded WRF file. My tests with the NBR were great, but, again, I need a Pause button.

In addition, a Pause button works in a live session when a presenter drops off, applications take a long time or error out, so that the recorded session is more tidy for playback.
