Are there any other Web Cameras that are recommended for a conference room and are less expensive than the Canon VC C50 ($1,400)?

There are many options depending on whether you prefer USB or IP network addressable cameras like the Canon; start with AXIS Communications, then SONY and Panasonic. Price range $250-750 megapixel and wireless is what I would start with i.e. AXIS 207MW for fixed or 214 for PTZ is where I would start.
