Is it possible to convert an ARF to a WRF file? All I have access to are ARF files. I need to edit the ARF files, but I see it is not possible unless I convert to SWF or WMV, which I don't want to do to.

There's no direct way to convert ARF to WRF using the ARF player as it only supports WMV and SWF conversion.

What you can do is re-record the ARF playback using WebEx standalone recorder which will generate WRF file....Open the recorder, start the ARF playback and then start recording on the recorder....this will generate WRF file you can then edit with the WRF editor.

Why wouldn't you rather convert to WMV and edit using standard editing tools?

The WMV files are large and the quality of the embeded Flash videos can be bad depending on the screen size.

Ok, so I know how to edit WMVs easily in Windows Movie Maker, but I don't know much about Flash. Do you or does anyone else know of an easy way to edit the generated Flash files? I don't have Flash Professional.

I tried re-recording the ARF files in the WebEx desktop recorder, and it is an OK solution. However, I'm trying to avoid having users download the WebEx player. I really wanted to embed a Flash video. Though ut's looking more like I'm going to have to embed a WMV, which is going to cost us more bandwidth.

Ideally WebEx would allow me to edit the start and end time of the ARF files as well as convert them to SWF without the need for an external editor.
